What We Measure and Why It Matters

When we arrive for a bathroom tile estimate, we measure every wall, the floor, the shower pan, any niches or benches, and the ceiling height. What We Look for Beyond the Measurements

We ask about the existing floor — is there a bathroom below? Is there a crawl space? These factors affect how we approach the subfloor. We also ask about the household — pets, children, elderly family members — because these factors influence our tile and grout recommendations.
What You Receive After the Estimate
Within 24–48 hours of our site visit, we send a written estimate that breaks down labor, materials, demo, waterproofing, and any subfloor repair as separate line items. We include the specific tile products we are quoting so you can compare apples to apples with other contractors. We also include a project timeline — start date, expected completion date, and any dependencies. Our estimates are valid for 30 days and require a 30% deposit to schedule. We do not require full payment until the project is complete and you are satisfied.
